Program Description
This Nurse Assistant course is a 75-hour approved program by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. This includes 54 hours of lecture/theory and lab/practice and 21 hours of clinical experience. Through lectures, videos, games, role-playing, and laboratory practice, the students learn skills such as bathing, dressing, positioning, and vital signs as well as learning to gather information needed to provide care for people within the health care system.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide certificate of completion and will be eligible for the Massachusetts Nurse Aide exam to be certified by the Department of Public Health as a CNA.
